Topping 100GWh: Shenzhen Pengcheng Infinite New Energy, ProLogium, and Others Launch 5 Major Energy Storage Projects
2026-02-12 14:18

Recently, the energy storage and power battery supply chain has welcomed a new wave of project launches and capacity expansions. Domestic companies such as Lingpao Lithium, Pengcheng Infinite, and Chuancheng Group have pushed forward with the signing and groundbreaking of key projects in Fujian, Sichuan, and Jiangsu, respectively. Simultaneously, Tinci Materials and ProLogium have entered a substantive phase of localized supply chain construction in overseas markets—specifically Morocco and France—accelerating their global production layouts.

  1. Lingpao Lithium’s 4GWh Battery Project Lands in Fujian

On February 10, Xiamen Lingpao Lithium Technology Co., Ltd. officially signed a deal to establish a 4GWh annual capacity lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery production line project in the Sanming Economic Development Zone, Fujian Province.

With a total investment of 1 billion RMB, the project is proposed for the Sanming Jikou Emerging Industrial Park and will be constructed in three phases. Phase I plans to lease 20,000 square meters of standard factory space, focusing on both lithium and sodium battery tracks. It will establish a production line integrating R&D, manufacturing, testing, and sales for cells and modules. Upon reaching full capacity, the daily output is expected to be 440,000 cells, with products targeting light power, backup power, and small home appliance sectors.

  1. Groundbreaking for Pengcheng Infinite’s 54GWh Energy Storage Cell Base

On February 10, the groundbreaking ceremony was officially held for the Shenzhen Pengcheng Infinite New Energy Yibin Energy Storage Industrial Park Cell Manufacturing Base project.

The project is located in the core industrial area of the Xuzhou New District. It has an overall planned annual capacity of 54GWh of energy storage cells, scheduled for implementation in two phases.

As a critical node in Shenzhen Pengcheng Infinite New Energy’s national strategic layout, the construction of this base will further support the company's business expansion and capacity enhancement in the energy storage sector.

  1. Construction Begins on Tinci Materials’ 150,000-Ton Electrolyte Project in Morocco

Recently, construction officially commenced on Tinci Materials’ electrolyte project in Morocco. Located in the Jorf Lasfar Industrial Park, the project involves a total investment of 2.576 billion Moroccan Dirhams (approximately $280 million). Once completed, it is expected to form a comprehensive annual production capacity of 150,000 tons of electrolyte and core raw materials.

This marks another substantive construction layout for Tinci Materials overseas, following its North American project. Leveraging Morocco’s geographic advantage connecting Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, as well as local mature industrial infrastructure, the project aims to further improve overseas supply synergy and delivery stability through cooperation with the local government and localized operations.

  1. Chuancheng Group’s "Two Centers, One Base" Project Settles in Jiangsu

On the morning of February 10, the signing ceremony for the Shaanxi Chuancheng Industrial Holding Group’s "Two Centers, One Base" project was held in Qidong, Jiangsu.

The project, with a total investment of 2 billion RMB, will be located in the Qidong High-tech Zone. The construction content covers an R&D center, a supply chain center, and a production base for all-vanadium redox flow battery energy storage systems and stacks.

This signing marks the strategic shift of Chuancheng Group’s focus from the Northwest to East China, with its R&D and production sites officially relocating to Qidong. On the day of the signing, the enterprise was issued its business license, signaling that the project has formally entered the substantive construction phase.

  1. ProLogium’s 48GWh Solid-State Battery Factory Breaks Ground in France

On February 10, ProLogium Technology held a groundbreaking ceremony in the northern French city of Dunkirk (Dunkerque), officially launching the construction of its solid-state battery gigafactory.

First announced by French President Emmanuel Macron in 2023, the project is positioned as a solid-state battery R&D and manufacturing base. It is regarded as a vital component of France’s "Battery Valley" strategy and the European electric vehicle supply chain layout.

According to the plan, the factory targets a total capacity of 48GWh, to be implemented in phases. The project is expected to begin mass production of fourth-generation solid-state batteries in 2028, reaching a capacity of 4GWh by 2029, with a plan to achieve full production by 2030. Previously, ProLogium had already established a GWh-level demonstration line in Taoyuan, Taiwan, and achieved shipments.
