EnergyTrend has learned that recently, energy storage market orders and project construction are continuously advancing. SANY Microgrid, Xinyuan Zhichu, and Titan Smart have successively signed energy storage orders, while Sermatec and EVE Energy Storage have respectively advanced the grid connection and commissioning of large-scale energy storage and C&I (commercial and industrial) energy storage projects. The projects cover multiple scenarios, including overseas standalone energy storage, renewable energy pairing storage, and user-side energy storage.

SANY Microgrid Signs 600MWh European Energy Storage Order

On August 18, SANY Microgrid and Eastern European integrated energy company RV officially signed an SPA (Sales and Purchase Agreement) for a 600MWh standalone energy storage project. According to the agreement, SANY Microgrid will provide energy storage products and system solutions for the project.

With an energy storage scale of 600MWh, this is one of the larger standalone energy storage projects in Eastern Europe. This cooperation is also the first collaboration between SANY Microgrid and RV in the energy storage field, marking SANY Microgrid's official entry into the European standalone energy storage market.

Xinyuan Zhichu Secures 200MWh Energy Storage System Order

On August 14, Xinyuan Zhichu and Xinjiang SPIC Shengyuan Energy Co., Ltd. signed a battery energy storage system equipment procurement contract. They will provide a complete set of energy storage systems for the Hami North 100MW/200MWh energy storage project, with a contract value of approximately 114.7 million RMB.

According to the contract, Xinyuan Zhichu's scope of supply includes LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery cells, battery cabinets, Battery Management Systems (BMS), Power Conversion System (PCS) and step-up transformer integrated stations, Energy Management Systems (EMS), and other equipment and materials, as well as providing related services such as installation and commissioning.

On the same day, Xinyuan Zhichu and Guoning Xin Chu signed a cell procurement contract to purchase energy storage cells for the aforementioned project, with a contract value of approximately 74.29 million RMB. Guoning Xin Chu is 60% owned by SPIC (State Power Investment Corporation) and 40% owned by CATL, and primarily provides energy storage technical services as well as the manufacturing and sales of new energy prime mover equipment.

Sermatec's 300MWh Energy Storage Project Connected to the Grid

Recently, Sermatec's 150MW/300MWh energy storage station, paired with photovoltaics for the 133rd Regiment of the 8th Division in Shihezi City, was officially connected to the grid for operation.

The project is located at the 133rd Regiment of the 8th Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC) in Shihezi City. With a total investment of approximately 200 million RMB and an energy storage scale of 150MW/300MWh, it consists of 30 sets of 5MW/10MWh LFP energy storage systems, designed for 2-hour charging and discharging.

Titan Smart Signs 88MWh Energy Storage Project

Recently, Shenzhen Titan Smart Technology Co., Ltd. signed contracts for the Hubei "Yufeng Action" (Harnessing the Wind Action) 14MW/28MWh energy storage project and the Zhongxiang 30MW/60MWh energy storage project, totaling 44MW/88MWh in scale.

Among them, the "Yufeng Action" 14MW/28MWh energy storage project is located in Shayang County, Jingmen City, Hubei Province, pairing with a 70MW wind power project; the Zhongxiang 30MW/60MWh energy storage project is located in Zhongxiang City, Hubei Province, pairing with a 100MW wind power project. Both projects utilize liquid-cooled LFP energy storage systems and 1500V energy storage solutions, equipped with energy storage battery cabins, PCS, BMS, EMS, and other equipment.

EVE Energy Storage's 16.75MWh C&I Storage Project Commissioned

Recently, the 8.5MW/16.75MWh commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage project at Vinda Paper in Quzhou, Zhejiang, invested and constructed by Hubei EVE Energy Storage and generally contracted by Jinshi Power Group, passed grid-connection acceptance and was officially put into operation.

The project is located within the Vinda Paper factory area in Longyou County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It adopts a prefabricated cabin energy storage solution paired with an EMS (Energy Management System), enabling a two-charge and two-discharge daily operational strategy based on the enterprise's production load.
