According to EnergyTrend, on November 2, Enfa Ruineng disclosed the latest progress of its overseas manufacturing base in Indonesia. The base is operated by BCI, the Indonesian subsidiary of Infa Ruineng. It was established in 2024 and covers an area of 357 acres. Annual production capacity reaches 7.5 GW, mainly producing N-type TOPCon cells, is Yingfa Ruineng’s first overseas manufacturing base.
On October 29, BCI, the Indonesian base of BCI, held a technology conference in Jakarta, Indonesia, releasing it for the Indonesian market for the first time. Half-cut passivation, multi-cut and BC cell technologies.
As Indonesia increases its TKDN (local content index) requirements and promotes the localization of the photovoltaic industry chain, localized battery supply and local manufacturing capabilities have become the focus of the market. Yingfaruineng said, The Indonesian base will rely on 7.5 GW of TOPCon cell production capacity to serve local photovoltaic manufacturing and supply chain needs, while also radiating into Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other markets.
At present, the company's TOPCon cell mass production efficiency has reached 27.3%, and the BC cell efficiency has reached 28.4%, and the entire process of perovskite/BC stacked components has been prepared. Among them, TOPCon technology is mainly used for existing production capacity supply, while BC cell is targeted at Indonesian distributed rooftops, outer island off-grid and micro-grid application scenarios.
In addition, at the press conference, Enfa Ruineng signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Indonesian Solar Module Manufacturers Association (APAMSI), and the two parties will cooperate in local supply, technical collaboration and other aspects.
According to the company's official website, Yingfa Ruineng was established in 2016 and focuses on the research and development, production and sales of photovoltaic cells. It operates four manufacturing bases in Yibin, Tianchang, Mianyang and Indonesia in China.
Among them, the Yibin base where its headquarters is located was established in 2022, with an annual production capacity of 29 GW of TOPCon cells, 6 GW of BC cells and 14 GW of Czochralski mono silicon rods; the Tianchang base was established in 2016 and mainly produces PERC photovoltaic cells; the Mianyang base was established in 2025, with an annual production capacity of 9 GW of TOPCon photovoltaic cells.
