Lians Technology Starts Production of 765W Heterojunction Multi-Slice Modules
2026-04-22 14:17

According to EnergyTrend, Lians Technology announced on April 16 that the first multi-slice module rolled off the production line at its Meishan base. This marks the official commissioning of Lians Technology’s world’s first GW-level production line for 765W high-power Heterojunction (HJT) multi-slice modules.

At present, the 765W high-efficiency HJT multi-slice modules have entered a phase of stable mass production and are capable of bulk delivery. The multi-slice technology has achieved large-scale commercial deployment in the high-power HJT product segment.

In terms of product features, the 765W module adopts self-developed 0BB silver-coated copper cells from Lians Technology, integrated with multi-slice technology and high-density packaging processes. It boasts a maximum bifaciality of 95% and a mass-production efficiency exceeding 24.63%. The product effectively reduces costs including mounting structures, combiner boxes, cables and land occupancy, optimizes Balance of System (BOS) and Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE), and is suitable for diversified scenarios such as large-scale ground-mounted PV power stations, commercial & industrial distributed PV projects and PV-plus integrated applications.

As compiled by EnergyTrend, driven by rapid iteration of PV technologies in recent years, multi-slice technology has become a core efficiency improvement pathway for leading enterprises, and 2026 is expected to be the breakout year for quad-slice products.

In view of the current industry development progress, major PV manufacturers have completed the layout of multi-slice technologies, with obvious differentiation in their mass production schedules.

Overall, multi-slice technology has extended from TOPCon to mainstream N-type technology routes including HJT and BC, and become a standard configuration for high-power modules.

With leading enterprises continuously accelerating the layout and construction of multi-slice production lines, large-scale mass production will drive yield improvement and cost reduction. Multi-slice modules are expected to shift from a high-end option to an industry mainstream standard.

The commissioning of Lians Technology’s GW-level HJT multi-slice production line not only sets new records for the power rating and mass production scale of HJT modules, but also verifies the commercial feasibility of the combination of HJT and multi-slice technologies. It provides a new direction for overall cost reduction and efficiency improvement across the industry, and the HJT multi-slice segment is poised to become a key focus of technological competition in the next industry phase.
