On June 8, the commissioning ceremony for Xinlinfei Group's Yizheng company's 10GW new high-efficiency photovoltaic (PV) cell project was held in the Yizheng Economic Development Zone. Jiao Qingbiao, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary-General, attended the ceremony.
The project, spanning 300 acres with a total investment of 5 billion yuan (including 1 billion yuan in equipment investment), will primarily produce new high-efficiency PV cells. Once fully operational, it's expected to achieve an annual billing sales of 5 billion yuan. Xinlinfei Group will focus on green and digital development, further strengthening product R&D and design, continuously expanding markets, organizing production, actively fostering new productive forces, and vigorously implementing coordinated development across primary, secondary, and tertiary industries to ensure the achievement of its expected profit targets. The project officially commenced on April 15, 2024, focusing on the R&D, production, and sales of new high-efficiency TOPCon PV cells. Upon reaching full capacity, it is anticipated to achieve an annual production capacity of 10GW of high-efficiency, large-sized TOPCon cells.
Xinlinfei Group, established in 2008, has been deeply rooted in the photovoltaic new energy sector for over a decade. It has successively built nine major production bases and more than ten subsidiaries in various locations across Jiangsu Province, including Yangzhou, Gaoyou, Suqian, and Jiangyin. The group's business encompasses the R&D and production of diamond wire, PV glass, PV encapsulant EVA, monocrystalline silicon wafers, large-sized monocrystalline cells, and large-sized high-efficiency modules, as well as PV power station construction and operation, and investment in integrated wind-solar-storage-charging industrial parks and new energy project development. The group's subsidiaries have formed a vertically integrated and comprehensive industrial layout. By the end of 2024, the company's wafer slicing capacity reached 100GW, high-efficiency cell capacity reached 36GW, and module capacity reached 15.5GW.
