Canadian solar Solutions, a subsidiary of Canadian Solar, has completed the sale of the 9MWac Aria Solar Plant to One West Holdings, an affiliate of Concord Green Energy, with CAD$65.6 million. The annual power yield is expected to be nearly 16,000MWh and the 20-year generation to be approximately 277,754MWh.
"We are delighted to complete the sale of Aria LP utility-scale solar power plants to Concord Green Energy,” said Dr. Shawn Qu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Solar. “This is the fourth project we have delivered to Concord Green Energy and will be an addition to the portfolio of projects we are providing operations and maintenance services on."
The project is located in the Township of Elmvale, Ontario and consists of 48,528 Canadian Solar MaxPower CS6X-300/310P PV modules. With the power generation during its 20-year lifespan, the power plant will offset approximately 191,526 MT of CO2 emissions, equivalent to taking around 40,000 cars off the road for one year.
