In August 2024, the game in the photovoltaic industry chain intensified. The main industry chain was in a state of loss, and the investment enthusiasm of enterprises was significantly weakened. The development of N-type and perovskite technology is faster. Aiko, Jingyou, and Gstar are accelerating their overseas expansion to seize emerging markets such as countries along the “Belt and Road” and the Middle East.

Contracted projects

According to incomplete statistics from TrendForce, six PV projects were contracted in August 2024. Among them, the specific scale of the cell link has not yet been disclosed, and the scale of the module link is about 7GW.

In the cell sector, only one project was signed in August, which involved the perovskite field.

In the module sector, 4 projects were signed in August. Aiko, Jingyou and Gstar accelerates the globalization layout.
