Marking the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Louisiana private company PosiGen Solar Solutions install a 25kW solar array atop the City of New Orleans’ resilient City Hall. SimpliPhi Power and Schneider Electric participated in the memorial and charitable event.

"Our company was created here, and as we continue to grow rapidly nationwide, we want to maintain our corporate headquarters here and work to create a more resilient and affordable New Orleans for all."
The 25kW solar array will generate clean power for the City Hall to reduce energy costs, as well as provide backup power in the event of power disruptions or a future natural disaster. It also helps fight against the extreme climate caused possibly by greenhouse gas emissions.

"Using SimpliPhi's proven, non-toxic energy storage solutions will give City Hall clean energy even when the sun is not shining and the grid is unavailable."
