On August 18, TCL and CGN New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. (“CGN New Energy”) announced the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership. The two parties will focus on the new energy sector, carrying out in-depth cooperation in areas such as industrial project development, power plant asset transactions, green power cooperation, technological innovation, hydrogen–ammonia–methanol applications, and equipment support. By leveraging complementary resources and advantages, the partnership aims to enhance global competitiveness and inject new momentum into the transition toward green energy.
At the signing ceremony, TCL founder and chairman Li Dongsheng noted that the two sides had already achieved several interim results through earlier discussions, and expressed the hope that the partnership would be further deepened to ensure effective implementation. This strategic partnership marks closer collaboration between industry leaders in addressing sectoral cycles, and represents an important step for TCL Zhonghuan in advancing its new energy strategy, enhancing vertical integration, and upgrading its product and technology portfolio. The cooperation is expected to accelerate the large-scale application of advanced products in major new energy projects.
Leveraging its strengths in photovoltaic materials and Industry 4.0 flexible manufacturing, TCL Zhonghuan has earned strong recognition from global customers for its module products. In terms of advanced high-efficiency product reserves, its BC modules have already reached full production, while continued technology upgrades and overseas capacity expansion further consolidate its leadership in BC technology worldwide.
