Photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturers continued to advance order fulfillment and project deliveries this week. A 5.3 MWp rooftop solar project supplied by JA Solar was commissioned in New Zealand, TCL Solar signed a strategic cooperation agreement for a major renewable energy project in Indonesia, and AIKO launched deliveries for a 240 MW ABC module project.

JA Solar-Supplied 5.3 MWp Project Commissioned in New Zealand

Recently, the 5.3 MWp rooftop solar project at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare in Auckland, supplied by JA Solar, was officially completed and commissioned.

As New Zealand's largest rooftop PV power station to date, the project features 8,273 high-efficiency modules from JA Solar's DeepBlue series. Leveraging its global warehousing and supply chain system, JA Solar completed module delivery while collaborating with the project developer on technical coordination and on-site construction.

TCL Solar Secures Cooperative Order for Major Renewable Project in Indonesia

Recently, TCL Solar signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Indonesian energy firm PT Ares Perkasa Indonesia (PT API). The two companies will partner with Danantara Indonesia, the country's sovereign wealth investment agency, to form a three-way consortium to jointly bid for and develop local mega-scale renewable energy projects.

Under the agreement, the consortium will collaborate on utility-scale ground-mounted PV and integrated solar-plus-storage projects, while exploring local manufacturing of PV modules to satisfy Indonesia's TKDN (domestic content requirement) standards. PT API will handle local government and corporate relations alongside project development, while TCL Solar will supply Back Contact (BC) modules and technical support.

AIKO Begins Deliveries for 240 MW PV Module Order

Recently, the first batch of AIKO's high-efficiency ABC modules arrived at the Kubuqi Desert Base in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, marking the official start of module deliveries for Phase I (240 MW) of Jingneng's Kubuqi desert, Gobi, and wasteland solar megabase project.

AIKO is the exclusive supplier of 240 MW of ABC bifacial dual-glass modules for the project. Situated in the Kubuqi Desert, the site presents challenging operational conditions, including high ground reflectivity, large day-to-night temperature swings, and frequent sandstorms. To adapt to these harsh desert environments, AIKO's ABC modules feature single-side welding technology and a steel frame design, complemented by a high bifaciality factor and a low temperature coefficient.
