Australian clean-tech company, Dyesol Limited (ASX: DYE) (OTCQX: DYSOY) (FBW: D5I.F), has won the inaugural Innovation category at the 2012 Clean Energy Council Industry Awards.

Received in front of 700 industry colleagues during the Clean Energy Week Conference in Sydney last night, the Council applauded Dyesol for "ground breaking development in the development of Dye Solar Cell Technology" which saw the company take the top prize in the new category created to recognise demonstrated excellence and leadership in innovation and research in the clean energy industry.

Dyesol Director Gordon Thompson said: "This prestigious award is a great tribute to the hard work of the Dyesol team and our partners in Australia and across the world. We are delighted to be recognised for our innovation and we are very focused on the next stage of commercialisation of our technology."
