On August 21, Haier New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with SPIC Integrated Smart Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Against the backdrop of the National Energy Administration actively advancing the first batch of new power system pilot projects and prioritizing the development of smart microgrids and virtual power plants, the two parties will collaborate on smart microgrids, integrated source-grid-load-storage applications, and digital-intelligent operation and maintenance, jointly building an open and collaborative ecosystem to drive the large-scale adoption of smart clean energy solutions.

As a subsidiary of State Power Investment Corporation, SPIC Integrated Smart Energy Technology focuses on the development, construction, and operation of integrated smart energy projects, carbon asset management and trading services, as well as related technological innovation. This aligns closely with Haier New Energy’s strategic commitment to providing high-quality power plant operations, smart dispatching, and asset services. The cooperation will initially target three key scenarios—household, village-level, and commercial & industrial microgrids—fully integrating technological and market resources to deliver more convenient, efficient, and intelligent one-stop integrated energy services.

In terms of green energy supply and consumption, the two companies will promote deeper integration of photovoltaic, energy storage, and other clean energy solutions with household appliances. By innovating and optimizing product solutions, service systems, and smart energy management platforms, they aim to advance the “appliance-oriented” development of new energy, enabling clean energy to be more seamlessly and intelligently embedded in household scenarios.

Looking ahead, Haier New Energy and SPIC Integrated Smart Energy will expand cooperation in areas such as digital operation & maintenance, asset management, and supply chain collaboration. Leveraging Haier New Energy’s digital-intelligent capabilities, the partnership will accelerate the green and low-carbon transition of energy consumption, foster an open and collaborative smart energy ecosystem, and inject strong momentum into building China’s new energy system and advancing sustainable green development.
