Recently, Chinese photovoltaic (PV) enterprises have continued to successfully secure orders in overseas markets. JinkoSolar has clinched a 59.74MW module order for a large-scale ground-mounted power plant in Greece, while Trina Solar has signed a 1GW module supply agreement with Australian distributor Solar Juice, further strengthening its strategic layout in the local residential, commercial, and industrial PV markets.
JinkoSolar Signs Another 59.74MW Module Order in Greece
Recently, JinkoSolar officially reached a supply agreement with a Greek customer for 59.74MW of its high-efficiency Tiger 3 modules. The products involved will be utilized in the construction of a large-scale ground-mounted PV power plant in the region.
It is understood that the Tiger 3 modules supplied in this agreement utilize TOPCon cell technology, boasting a maximum power output of up to 670W and a front-side conversion efficiency exceeding 24.8%. In Greece's operating environment—characterized by high irradiation, high temperatures, and complex terrain—these products can enhance the overall power generation capacity and operational stability of the power plant through a higher bifaciality factor and superior temperature coefficient performance.
Previously, JinkoSolar had already successfully signed an 88.98MW supply agreement for a large-scale ground-mounted power plant project with a Greek customer. With the successive finalization of these two orders, JinkoSolar's new module order volume in the Greek market has reached 148.72MW, further expanding its footprint in Europe's high-irradiation markets.
Trina Solar Signs 1GW Module Supply Agreement in Australia
Recently, during the Smart Energy Conference in Sydney, Trina Solar and Australian PV distributor Solar Juice officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
According to the agreement, Trina Solar will supply 1GW of its Vertex 3 series modules to the Australian market over the next three years to further meet the continuously growing demand in the local residential, commercial, and industrial rooftop PV markets.
Under the terms of the agreement, Solar Juice will be responsible for the distribution and promotion of the Vertex 3 series modules in the Australian market, providing product and service support to local installers and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) clients.
Trina Solar stated that the Vertex 3 modules are developed based on the new generation n-type i-TOPCon Ultra technology platform. Having been upgraded in terms of power, conversion efficiency, and system adaptability, these modules are better equipped to match the specific needs of residential, commercial, and industrial rooftop scenarios in Australia.
It is reported that Trina Solar and Solar Juice have previously established a solid foundation of cooperation. The signing of this 1GW agreement signifies that both parties will further deepen their partnership within Australia's residential, commercial, and industrial distributed PV markets.
