Jinko Solar Signs 8.8 GW Tiger Neo 3 Module Order
Recently, a delegation of Jinko Solar and its Chinese strategic distributors visited Manchester City Football Club and the Phase1 project of Manchester City Football Academy, concluding a cooperation agreement for Phase 2. Meanwhile, Jinko Solar jointly signed an 8.8 GW Tiger Neo 3 module order with its core Chinese strategic partners.
Jinko Solar Tiger Neo modules have been installed on the rooftops of youth training facilities at the Phase1 Manchester City Football Academy project, with a total of 10,887 units deployed. During the visit, Jinko Solar officially sealed the Phase2 project deal with the academy, planning to install thousands of Tiger Neo 3 modules adjacent to the firstteam training ground.
Notably, Jinko Solar New Scenarios held a joint signing ceremony for Tiger Neo 3 modules with multiple core strategic partners in the UK, with a combined contracted capacity of 8.8 GW.
JA Solar Wins Bid for TOPCon Module Procurement Project
On May 11, the bid result for PV module supply under the renewable energy substitution project of the CoaltoLiquid Company’s 2×100 MW selfowned thermal power plant was announced, with JA Solar winning the tender at a unit price of RMB 0.778 per watt.
This open tender covers PV modules for the renewable energy substitution project of the CoaltoLiquid Company’s 2×100 MW selfowned thermal power plant, located in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. The planned installed PV capacity is 46.875 MW, to be fully constructed in one phase.
The total tendered procurement capacity stands at 59.475 MWp. The project features an ACside capacity of 46.875 MW and a DCside capacity of 59.475 MWp, with a capacity ratio of approximately 1.2688. It adopts 610 Wp Ntype TOPCon monocrystalline bifacial doubleglass modules, totalling around 97,500 units, to be mounted on fixed brackets at the optimal tilt angle. A total of 15 sets of 3,125 kW central containerized inverterintegrated machines will be deployed, forming 15 power generation units.
Concord New Energy to Purchase PV Equipment Worth RMB 198 Million
Concord New Energy announced that its whollyowned subsidiary Tianjin Huaxing signed a procurement contract with China Construction Eighth Engineering Division on May 8, 2026. Tianjin Huaxing will pay approximately RMB 198 million to the contractor for photovoltaic power generation equipment.
The equipment includes PV modules, inverters, mounting brackets, electrical equipment, and other PVrelated devices and materials. The equipment is intended for Concord New Energy’s 120 MW PV power project in Huai’an, Jiangsu Province, China.
