Solar PV module orders have continued to materialize recently, with JinkoSolar, JA Solar, and AIKO successively disclosing or advancing domestic and international module orders and project deliveries. These projects cover a wide range of application scenarios, including fishery-solar complementary systems, large-scale bases in desert and barren regions, overseas mining sites, and ground-mounted power stations.
JinkoSolar Secures Over 358 MW in PV Module Orders
Recently, JinkoSolar won a series of domestic and international solar PV module orders totaling over 358 MW. These involve a 220 MW fishery-solar integration project in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, and an 83.94 MW utility-scale ground-mounted power station project in the United Kingdom.
Among them, on September 7, the bid winner announcement (second release) for the PV module equipment procurement of the Lianyungang Qingkou Salt Field Fishery-Solar Integrated Power Generation Project showed that JinkoSolar won the contract. The winning bid amount was approximately RMB 209 million, with a bid price of RMB 0.759/W. The project has a planned construction capacity of 220 MW and a total procurement module capacity of approximately 274.91 MWp, requiring N-type monocrystalline bifacial dual-glass modules with a front-side power output of no less than 650 Wp.
In overseas markets, JinkoSolar recently signed an 83.94 MW module supply agreement with a UK renewable energy developer. The project will utilize Tiger Neo 3.0 N-type bifacial modules for the construction of a large-scale ground-mounted power station in central-eastern UK.
AIKO Secures Over 900 MW in PV Module Orders
Recently, AIKO secured consecutive PV orders across domestic and international markets, covering the 233 MW Kamoa solar project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and the 677.99 MW solar project at the Tengger Desert Hexi New Energy Base in Gansu Province, with a combined capacity exceeding 900 MW.
Among these, the 233 MW Kamoa solar project in the DRC has achieved full grid connection and entered commercial operation. Invested in and operated by CrossBoundary Energy (CBE), the project features AIKO's ABC (All-Back-Contact) modules, incorporating 360,000 units of AIKO's 66-cell, 655W high-efficiency dual-glass modules to deliver solar-plus-storage clean energy to the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex.
In the domestic market, AIKO won Section II of Zhejiang Energy Group's 1.2 GW Hongshagang solar project in Minqin County, Wuwei City, under the "Gansu Tengger Desert Hexi New Energy Base." Module deliveries have commenced, with the first batch of ABC modules arriving on-site. AIKO will supply approximately 1.04 million ABC modules for this 677.99 MW section.
JA Solar Signs 90 MW Supply Agreement in South Korea
On September 9, JA Solar signed a module supply agreement with South Korea's NH International for the 90 MW Phase I of the LS (Aquila) Jeonnam Yeonggwang Solar Power Plant project in South Korea.
Located in Yeonggwang County, Jeollanam-do, South Korea, the project has a total planned capacity of 300 MW. This contract covers the 90 MW Phase I development, which will exclusively utilize JA Solar modules according to the agreement.
