Recently, multiple energy storage orders have been successively secured in both domestic and international markets. Among them, EVE Energy signed a five-year long-term contract for energy storage battery cells with an Indian company, Tesla secured another 304MWh energy storage system order in Belgium, and HEES Energy signed a 200MW/800MWh energy storage equipment supply and strategic cooperation agreement in the domestic market.

EVE Energy Signs Five-Year Battery Cell Supply Agreement in India

On April 13, Indian company Godawari Power and Ispat Limited issued an announcement declaring that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Godawari New Energy Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as "GNEPL"), has officially signed a long-term supply agreement with Chinese battery manufacturer EVE Power (a subsidiary of EVE Energy).

According to the announcement, GNEPL will purchase 628 Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells from EVE Power, with a contract period of five years. This procurement of key battery components is primarily intended for the manufacturing of the first phase of the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) planned by GNEPL, which has a total planned capacity of 20GWh.

Tesla Secures Another 76MW/304MWh Energy Storage Order from Belgium's ESG

Recently, Tesla reached a cooperation agreement with the Belgian Energy Solutions Group (ESG) to provide energy storage equipment for the Auvelais energy storage park in Sambreville, Belgium. The contract is valued at approximately $80 million, under which Tesla will provide Megapack energy storage systems with a total capacity of 76MW/304MWh. Currently, the project has entered the construction phase and is expected to be put into commercial operation in the first quarter of 2027.

This marks the second time Tesla has provided large-scale energy storage technical support to the ESG Group. Prior to this, the two parties had already collaborated to build their first energy storage project in Harmignies, Belgium. This preceding project had a scale of 75MW/304MWh, was equipped with 82 Megapack 2 XL units, and represented a total investment of approximately $87 million. It was completed and put into use by the end of 2025.

HEES Signs 800MWh Energy Storage System Supply Agreement

On April 8, HEES (Xiamen) Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Anhui Shijia Heli New Energy Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing Daorong Energy Group) officially signed a 200MW/800MWh energy storage equipment supply contract and strategic cooperation agreement in Hefei, Anhui Province.

According to the supply contract, HEES will provide 200MW/800MWh energy storage equipment for the relevant projects. Furthermore, the two parties will engage in technological synergy centered around the 5GWh energy storage manufacturing base in Huainan. HEES will provide full-process technical support, while Shijia Heli will be responsible for the production site, equipment, and personnel logistics, jointly promoting the successful implementation of the technical solutions.
