On October 21, Zhongsen Carbon Investment disclosed that it recently signed a cooperation agreement with Jiangnan District, Nanning City, Guangxi for a new battery production project with an annual capacity of 2GWh (including sodium-ion batteries and nickel-zinc batteries).

The project involves a total investment of approximately 1 billion yuan, with fixed assets accounting for about 920 million yuan. It will occupy over 150 mu of land and establish two core production lines: a 1GWh/year sodium-ion battery line and a 1GWh/year nickel-zinc battery line. Both product types will serve diverse applications including energy storage systems, two-wheeled electric vehicles, emergency power supplies, and electric vehicles.

Construction is scheduled to commence by the end of 2025, with production expected to commence within one year. Upon reaching full capacity, the project is projected to generate an annual output value of approximately 1.4 billion yuan and annual tax revenue exceeding 64.4 million yuan.
