On October 11, SYP Glass Group Company Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Dalian SYP Glass Co., Ltd. (“Dalian SYP”), successfully ignited the furnace for its energy-saving upgrade and automation transformation project for the float glass production line on October 10, 2025.

The upgrade and transformation project began on June 23, 2025, when Dalian SYP temporarily halted production to implement the improvements. The company has actively advanced the project, and with the furnace successfully ignited, the project has officially entered production. Upon completion, it is expected to further enhance product quality, production line automation, and environmental performance.

After the project is fully operational, Dalian SYP will achieve the dual goals of “renewed production lines + advanced manufacturing.” The core furnace technology will be upgraded, and the automation level of the production line will be improved. The project will enhance the company’s capacity to produce TCO glass substrates for perovskite and cadmium telluride thin-film solar cells, driving the product mix toward higher value-added and technologically advanced offerings. This will enable the production of high-performance glass products that meet the diverse needs of customers in photovoltaics, solar thermal, automotive, and industrial applications.

Additionally, the project will accelerate the company’s development of a new production system centered on “technological innovation + green intelligent manufacturing,” further consolidating SYP Glass Group’s core competitiveness in the high-end glass sector.
