Documents show that the project is located in Ganmei Industrial Park, Dongpo District, Meishan City, in the existing high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cells in Tongwei Solar (Meishan) Co., Ltd. on the basis of the fourth phase of the project to add new part of the production equipment and adjust the frequency of operation of the equipment to improve the photoelectric conversion rate of the product (process improvement), expanding the production capacity of 8GW / year. After the project expansion, the production capacity will be increased from 16GW/year to 24GW/year, and the average conversion efficiency will be increased from 24.50% to 25.78-26.15%. No new land will be added to the project, and the estimated total investment of the project is about 160,000,000 RMB.

It is understood that the project is still using TOPCon technology, new cell plane size 182.3mm × 210mm ± 0.25, 182.3mm × 192mm ± 0.25.
