On October 16, Great Power announced that the company intends to build a new project of small power square aluminium shell lithium-ion battery with a daily capacity of 30,000 and capacitive lithium-ion battery with a daily capacity of 500,000 in Zhengyang County, Zhumadian City, with a total planned investment of 1 billion yuan.

Great Power said that the source of funds for this investment project is the company's own or self-financing, and is expected to raise funds for the construction of the project through a combination of equity and debt, including but not limited to bank financing, the issuance of convertible bonds, the issuance of preferred shares, etc. The specific direction of financing, financing plan has not yet been determined, and no relevant financing agreement has been signed.

After the completion of the investment in Zhumadian New Energy Venture Capital Fund, the total contribution of all partners is 500 million yuan, the company contributed 200 million yuan, the proportion of contribution is 40%. Zhumadian New Energy Venture Capital Fund mainly invests in battery materials, energy storage, new energy vehicles and other battery upstream and downstream industry chain, and at the same time, it will cover the new energy and other strategic emerging industries that can help Zhumadian's industrial upgrading.
