On September 12, following rigorous testing and certification by the authoritative TÜV Rheinland, Jiangsu Runergy New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. ("Runergy") achieved a significant breakthrough with its independently developed 182-format N-type module. In the standard size of 2278*1134mm, the front-side power output of the module reached 624.9W, approximately 30W higher than other modules of the same size in the market. The conversion efficiency also broke new records, reaching 24.2%. This achievement sets new industry benchmarks for power and efficiency in this module type, highlighting Runergy’s commitment to continuous product performance improvement, driven by strong R&D capabilities and a focus on technological innovation.
On the cell side, Runergy optimized the cell's textured surface structure and anti-reflection coating, improving light absorption by leveraging the optical properties of module encapsulation materials. After testing in a high-efficiency cell laboratory, a new ultra-thin poly layer with advanced doping on the backside was developed to enhance long-wavelength optical response. By simulating and analyzing recombination losses, Runergy designed a low-surface-doping boron diffusion process, matched with specialized new metallic paste and fine-line printing technology. This resulted in minimal electrical loss and reduced surface and metal recombination, thereby boosting cell efficiency.
On the module side, Runergy improved both front and rear materials to optimize light absorption and make maximum use of every inch of sunlight. Electrically, innovative solutions such as low-resistance technology were employed to minimize electrical losses. Additionally, edge passivation technology was used to repair edge-cutting losses in the cells, significantly enhancing module power output.
