Billion Watts Launches PV O&M and Monitoring Solution for Better IRR

Billion Watts Technologies, provider of PV string meter and energy management solution in Asia Pacific, unveils its’ one-stop solar PV power monitoring system – Pixel View, which can massively boost IRR through detailed string monitoring while significantly minimizing the O&M cost. The company also announces its new Taiwanese distributorship with SolarEdge, reputed provider of power optimizer, solar inverter, and MPPT monitoring solutions.

Collaborating with DC String Meter and Billion Watts Smart Gateway, Pixel View transforms the traditional manual and complicated O&M process into the automatic and flexible procedure. Billion 6300NXL, Smart IoT Universal Gateway supports multiple communication protocols including RS-485, ZigBee, PLC, Ethernet and 3G/4G LTE, serving as the communication backbone which transfers and uploads the collected PV data to the Pixel View Solar PV Energy Monitoring system without interruption. 

Pixel View is compatible with different brands of solar modules and inverters, which can identify the location of the underperforming solar module and deliver automatic alert for failure detection, description, and status tracking to reduce the shorten the time and cost of patrol inspection and maintenance.
