It’s necessary yet inconvenience to bring portable batteries with you when you are in the great outdoors if don’t want to miss any message transmitted through your mobile devices. Iowa-based startup PowerFilm is listening, and has created a perfect solution for whom love to stay outdoors. With the LightSaver Max, a portable solar charger, you don’t have to worry about finding power source to charge your devices when taking out of adventuring.
LightSaver Max collects sunlight by bindable, slim, and lightweight a-Si solar panels, which is able to absorb partial sun. The panels can be rolled up and “packed” in a pocket which installed a battery to store electricity generated by the solar panels. The 15,600mAh internal battery is pretty enough for camping, hiking, skinning, fishing, etc.
There are two USB 2.1 ports enabling users to charge their devices by 12V, 60W high power outputs. For example, an iPhone 6 will be fully charged within only two hours.
"We've been developing and manufacturing unique, flexible solar module technology for nearly three decades, including solar tents for the Army," said Frank Jeffrey, Co-Founder and President of PowerFilm. "We wanted to create a product for adventurers like us who want that next level of reliable power to keep them connected anywhere they go - that's the LightSaver Max."
PowerFilm is now launching an Indiangogo Campaign for LightSaver Max, go check it!
