——The launch of a major new study on the impact of the wind industry on Europe's economy, growth and employment;
——The publication of the Global Wind Energy Council's 'Annual Global Market Report 2011';
——A journalist boat trip to visit an offshore wind farm and an installation vessel;
——The main EWEA 2012 press conference on Monday 16 April, followed by lunch and an opportunity to meet key conference participants informally.
The last day of the event coincides with an Informal Council of the EU Energy and Environment Ministers in Horsens, Denmark.
The conference, whose theme is 'Innovating today, shaping tomorrow', features some 33 sessions in six tracks: policies, financing and hardware technology, grids and infrastructure, science and research; markets and programmes, and resource assessment.
Over 330 exhibitors have already booked a stand and pavilions have been confirmed for Danish, Dutch, French and British exhibitors.
