2012-02-13 15:29

With the new locations in Athens and Sofia, SolarMax has moved closer to local customers to provide greater flexibility and service and to continue to expand sales. Both branches have been integrated into Sputnik Engineering International AG; General Manager is Daniel Freudiger.

SolarMax inverters have been standing for Swiss quality, reliability and durability for more than 20 years. The SolarMax products are characterised by maximum efficiencies at different application and climate conditions. The Swiss manufacturer has the right device available for any field of application, from single-family homes to solar plants on farms and industrial buildings through to solar power plants in the megawatt range. String and central inverters have been certified for application in Greece and Bulgaria and fulfil all statutory standards.

"Bulgaria and Greece are two of the most ambitious markets in the photovoltaics industry," explains Daniel Freudiger, General Manager of Sputnik Engineering International AG. "Both European countries have indeed had to make many cuts as a result of the European financial crisis, however the markets still remain attractive for the solar industry due to the many hours of sunlight and the government subsidies."

SolarMax has already carried out a range of projects in both countries in the past. With the local branches, optimum on-site services will be guaranteed. To highlight the entry into the markets, SolarMax will be exhibiting at two regional trade fairs in March: At the Ecotec in Athens, Greece (15th - 18th March) and at the SEE Solar in Sofia, Bulgaria (28th - 30th March). Customers and interested parties will be able to obtain extensive information about the entire product range at both trade fairs.
