Recently, the new metallization TOPCon high-efficiency cells from Jiangsu Runda New Energy officially commenced production and rolled off the line.
The TOPCon high-efficiency cells launched this time rely on the world's only mass-produced new metallization process, with a core conversion efficiency exceeding 26.5%. The technical indicators are positioned within the industry's leading echelon.
In terms of cost control, professional estimates indicate that this process can further drive down product costs by more than 20% in the future.
Furthermore, regarding reliability performance, after utilizing the high-efficiency new metallization cells in the module packaging stage, the long-term operational reliability of the modules is significantly improved. It exhibits particularly low power degradation in DH testing, capable of reliably guaranteeing a 30-year effective power generation cycle, and will provide differentiated green photovoltaic products characterized by both low carbon emissions and low degradation.
It is reported that the project is located in the Jianhu County High-tech Zone, Jiangsu. The total planned capacity is 10GW, with Phase I initially releasing 5GW of capacity. The total investment is RMB 3 billion, and it includes the construction of 180,000 square meters of standardized factory buildings and advanced production facilities.
As an enterprise with a full industrial chain layout, Runda Photovoltaic currently possesses three major production bases for cells, modules, and energy storage.
