2013-08-14 11:41

IRN is proud to bring you the 5th edition of the Annual Energy Trading Operations and Technology Summit taking place in London on 16-17 October 2013.
Each year the flagship ETOT Summit attracts top names from major energy trading companies from Europe and globally.

Last year’s Summit took place in one of the city’s most iconic landmarks - the London County Hall & Film Museum, with a C-level speaking faculty and high-level content.  The Summit raised and discussed important issues around the latest regulatory impacts on operational and technological processes; focusing on the implications for your business and your role. With live voting sessions, case-studies, up-to-date developments and initiatives, presentations, live-streams, roundtables and workshops, IRN continues to facilitate a strong networking platform where regulators, energy companies, investment banks, solution providers and advisory services can come together to discuss latest industry initiatives, common concerns and collectively work on solutions and drivers to push the market forward.

IRN guests had private access to the London Film Museum where we hosted a champagne tour for all that attended, followed by a Gala Dinner within the main Exhibition Hall of the Museum, facilitating a wonderful evening with food, drinks and of course, good business networking.

This year again we will welcome key industry players from around the energy trading landscape, as well as regulators, energy trading banks and solution providers; from EFET, the European Commision, E.ON Energy, Société Générale, Eneco Energy Trade, Citi, GDF Suez, Axpo, Verbund, BG Group, ECC, Wipro Technologies, Digiterre, Gazprom Marketing & Trading, EDF Trading Limited, ConocoPhillips, Newedge, Baringa Partners, Triple Point Technology, Centrica, Trayport, SunGard Services, Deutsche Bank and Glencore and many more.
We are once again preparing an exceptional program for the 5th ETOT Summit with case studies, presentations, panel discussions focusing on the latest developments within the back office operations such as clearing, settlement and confirmation, as well as examining how businesses tackle the challenge of integration and optimization of processes in times of cost-cutting. Regulators and relevant associations will be present to share updates on the legalities of energy trading and the challenges of standardization. Technology will also be looked at in details with a stream dedicated to sessions around IT implementation to cope with the new regulations, adjustments projects and updating work within IT architecture to keep up with the demanding legal and control frameworks.
