Key developers and EPCs from the Middle East will be attending INDIASOL 2014 (8-9 October, New Delhi) to explain the opportunities for Indian solar companies to expand their business in the Middle East and discuss international partnerships for upcoming projects.
Major players in the Middle East, who are interested in finding international partners and suppliers for upcoming solar projects in key markets such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Jordan, are considering companies in India's solar industry for business opportunities. With over 2GW of installed solar capacity in India, Indian solar developers, EPCS and suppliers are ready to start expanding their business in the Middle East.
The INDIASOL 2014 conference will bring together some of the biggest players in the Middle Eastern and Indian industries together to explore the opportunities in the Middle East and to discuss the criteria that Indian companies need to meet to be considered as potential partners and suppliers for the region.
Masdar, the UAE solar developer who have the 100MW Shams I concentrated solar power (CSP) plant in the Abud Dhabi and the 100MW photovoltaic (PV) plant in Masdar city in their portfolio, are looking for players to partner with to continue expanding their portfolio. Yago Mancebo, Investment Manager at Masdar will be participating in the conference in New Delhi to discuss the challenges and successes of creating partnerships in the Middle East.
Mancebo will be joined by Alexandre Allegue, General Manager at Sun & Life, the Saudi Arabian solar EPC, who have built the largest solar power plant in Saudi Arabia for Saudi Aramco and Daniel Rich, Chief Operating officer at Nur Energie, the UK developer who are planning the ambitious 2GW TuNur CSP project in Tunisia. They will be sharing their expertise and networking with the key players in the solar industry in India, such as Mahindra EPC, Welspun Energy, Moser Baer Solar, Godawari Green Energy, Abengoa Solar India and many more.
