2014-03-05 17:26
The 7th International Photovoltaic Power Generation Expo (PV Expo 2014), a show of World Smart Energy Week 2014, was completed from February 26th to 28th. Exhibitors from the globe showcased their newest technologies, leading products and innovative ideas to attendees. The EnergyTrend team took part in the whole exhibition to know more about solar panels, high-efficiency motors and storage systems.
As renewable energy technology becomes matured and the markets become stronger, large companies have been trying to develop high-efficient products to contribute the “ECO” concept. The new products showcased during the exhibition including high-efficient solar modules, lower energy-consuming IE3 motor from TECO Motor and storage systems which are thinner and more efficient. From these products, we can have a glance to a trend of higher efficiency of green innovations.
PV EXPO 2014 Launches And the World Smart Energy Week to Focus on Top Renewable Energy Technologies
The 7th International Photovoltaic Power Generation Expo (PV EXPO 2014) launches today in Tokyo Big Sight, Japan with more exhibitors and attendees. Despite the PV EXPO, one of the series exhibitions of World Smart Energy Week 2014, there are more exhibitions focusing on PV cells, modules and constructions as well as batteries and wind power. From February 26th to 28th, it is simultaneously held PV EXPO Technical Conference, a series of special seminars inviting global experts of renewable energy to discuss topics include technologies, markets and the future.
TECO to Break into Japanese Market with IE3 Motor – Interview with TECO Chairman
TECO firstly attended the Eco House exhibition at this year’s World Smart Energy Week, showing wind energy and PV components and motors. TECO chairman C.K. Liu was in attendance at the exhibition and discussed with EnergyTrend reasons behind their entrance into the Japanese market and future goals.
World Smart Energy Week – the largest smart and renewable energy trade show in Japan
World Smart Energy Week, the largest smart and renewable energy trade show in Japan, took place from Feb. 26-28 at Tokyo Big Sight. Combing 8 independent shows (PV EXPO、FC EXPO、WIND EXPO、PV SYSTEM EXPO、BATTERY JAPAN、ECO HOUSE&ECO BUILDING EXPO、SMART GRID EXPO and ENETECH JAPAN), World Smart Energy Week covers a wide range of power generation, system integration and installation, energy conservation and storage, smart grid and processing technology.
Dream ECO House No Longer Just a Concept
Smart Grid Expo 2014 and ECO House & ECO Building Expo 2014 both kicked off at Tokyo Big Sight located in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan. The Smart Grid Expo 2014 alone attracted over 100 booths that displayed the latest electronic grid system. System integrators including Panasonic and NEC plus component manufacturers Omron and Edison Power have all listed power systems as a part of smart grids, according to observations by EnergyTrend, a subsidiary of TrendForce. The Taiwan pavilion also displayed excellent components ranging from energy storage to smart meters.
