Taiwan has become one of important solar cell production bases in the world, and therefore, Taiwanese manufacturers’ achievement has also drawn global enterprises’ attention. In previous PV Expo exhibits, Taiwanese manufacturers have always been a focus of attention.
Except for exhibit participation, information sharing was also an important part of the exhibit. As we can see, chairman of Gintech Energy Cooperation, Mr. Pan, Wenent; chairman of DelSolar Co., Mr. Liang, Rong-Chang; vice president of Topcell Solar International Co., Dr. C.W. Scott Jiang; vice president of Gallant Precision Machining Co Ltd, Dr. Chen, Lai-Cheng, all attended the exhibit.
Many solar cell and module manufacturers have aggressively taken part in this exhibit. Other than big names, such as Motech Industries, E-Ton Solar, Gintech Energy, Neo Solar Power, DelSolar, Tynsolar, Apollo Solar Energy, Perfect Source Technology, new market entrants like Topcell Solar, AblyTek, Sunrise Global Solar Energy, TSEC, and AUO took this chance to release their latest product to show Taiwanese enterprises’ achievement.
Furthermore, companies in downstream component and upstream Si-wafer joined this big feast as well evidenced by the attendance of Solarjoin Technology for PV Ribbon and EVA, Taiflex for back sheet and Eversol for ingot and wafer. It shows the value chain integration of the solar energy industry in Taiwan is becoming complete, and in addition to cell and module, the supply of raw material and component can now compete in the global market as well.
Furthermore, thin film manufacturers also attended this event, like Sun Well and NextPower. Plant Factory of Sun Well has released their latest product and received a positive market response.
Finally, Taiwan yields to nobody in technology innovation. Currently, Everlight Chemical Industrial Co has displayed dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) products, and the vice president also made a speech in the seminar held by TAITRA.
