According to EnergyTrend, on September 15, Solax Power and Pylontech released records of investor relations activities, disclosing the latest operational trends of their energystorage businesses.

Solax Power: Rapid Growth in Commercial & Industrial Energystorage Business

Solax Power also issued the announcement for its 2026 halfyear earnings briefing on September 15.

On the market front, channel inventory for residential energy storage in Europe is being digested at a moderate pace amid fierce industry competition. According to the announcement, Solax Power will dynamically adjust product pricing in response to supplydemand conditions across different overseas regions.

In H1 2026, Solax Power recorded RMB 289 million in R&D expenditure, maintaining substantial R&D investment to support product iteration for multiple scenarios including residential energy storage, commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage, utilityscale power stations and heat pumps.

In terms of business mix, Solax Power’s C&I energystorage revenue surged 152.51% yearonyear in the first half of the year. The company noted that its C&I energystorage revenue has achieved robust growth in overseas markets.

Given the intense competition and low gross margins in China’s domestic C&I energystorage market, Solax Power is pursuing a steady deployment strategy. It regards the domestic market as a longterm priority and will not chase explosive shortterm scale expansion.

Pylontech: H1 Sales Hit 3,431 MWh

On the same day, Pylontech announced that its total energystorage sales volume reached 3,431 MWh in H1 2026, representing a sharp yearonyear increase of 158.36%.

Pylontech stated that in its core European residential energystorage market, channel inventories are gradually clearing. Minor signs of terminal demand recovery have emerged in some regions, yet a stable and sustained rebound has not taken shape overall.

Furthermore, Pylontech pointed out that European residential energystorage demand is subject to multiple constraints. Market performance is affected by natural gas prices, local electricity tariff mechanisms, national subsidy policies, new photovoltaic installation volumes and overseas financing costs. Significant uncertainty remains over overall European energystorage demand from 2026 to 2027.

Pylontech currently adopts an orderdriven rolling production scheduling model to align production efficiently with market requirements. Meanwhile, it continues to expand its global footprint, with business presence covering more than 90 countries and regions including the United States, Japan, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Pylontech said it will keep improving profitability through technological upgrades, cost reduction and efficiency gains, newproduct launches and optimized global market layout, while sustaining steady R&D spending.

For business expansion, Pylontech’s C&I energystorage products have been deployed in scenarios such as domestic industrial parks and userside microgrids, with largevolume sales achieved.

For utilityscale energystorage products, the 588 Ah and 601 Ah largeformat cells have completed development. The 6.25 MWh and 8 MWh containerized energystorage systems are scheduled for mass production in the second half of 2026. In addition, Pylontech has officially launched a dedicated energystorage system tailored for AIDC computingpower supporting scenarios, and is vigorously advancing its commercial rollout and market promotion.
