Over 5 GWh: Trina Solar, EVE Energy and Two Other Firms Release New Energy Storage Order Updates

EnergyTrend has learned that Trina Storage, EVE Energy, Huawei Digital Power and Pylontech have recently released updates on energy storage orders and commissioned projects, covering strategic cooperation, new commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage products, and user-side energy storage project rollouts.

Trina Storage C&I Energy Storage Cabinet Project Goes Live

On September 9, Trina Storage announced that an energy storage project for a copper and aluminum deep processing enterprise in Shaoxing, Zhejiang has officially come online. The project is equipped with 12 sets of Trina Storage Potentia BlueSea 2 integrated C&I energy storage cabinets, forming a 1.5 MW / 3.132 MWh user-side energy storage station.

Notably, this is the industry’s first AI bionic liquid-cooled C&I energy storage product. Trina Solar BlueSea 2 adopts premium A-grade automotive-grade 314Ah Trina cells and self-developed Pack Pro modules. It features AI bionic variable-frequency liquid cooling temperature control, keeping cell temperature difference stably ≤2.1°C.

EVE Energy Signs 5 GWh Energy Storage Cooperation Deal

On September 9, EVE Energy announced it has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Railway Beijing Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd.

The two parties exchanged in-depth views on cooperation prospects in the new energy sector, application scenarios of energy storage technologies and coordination in infrastructure construction, and will establish a long-term and stable strategic partnership.

In addition, they agreed to set up a dedicated working liaison mechanism, with a committed energy storage project cooperation volume of no less than 5 GWh over the next three years.

Huawei Digital Power Inks Energy Storage System Cooperation in Thailand

Thai media Thailand4 reported on September 8 that three Thai firms — Siam Global House, AESCON and Integra R.E. — signed a memorandum of understanding at Huawei’s Shenzhen showroom to deploy Huawei’s battery energy storage system (BESS) technology.

Under the MOU, the three Thai companies plan to deploy Huawei’s 241 kWh LUNA2000-241-2S1 BESS solution across all Siam Global House branches within three years.

For this cooperation, Siam Global House will act as the project owner and lead the initiative. Integra R.E. will partner with Huawei to handle local coordination, technical support and quality assurance, while AESCON undertakes the EPC work including installation, on-site project management and system commissioning.

Pylontech Commissions Behind-the-Meter Energy Storage Projects in China’s Taiwan Region

On September 9, Pylontech announced that multiple large-scale user-side energy storage projects for manufacturing customers in China’s Taiwan region have recently been put into operation, with a combined capacity of 14 MWh.

The projects deploy 20 units, 16 units, 10 units and 8 units of L260 EU-standard liquid-cooled integrated energy storage cabinets respectively. The newly commissioned L260 liquid-cooled cabinets have obtained the mandatory CNS 62619 certification for China’s Taiwan region, together with a full suite of international safety certifications such as UL9540A and UN38.3 and IEC standards, reaching an IP55 protection rating.
