EnergyTrend has learned that recently, CHINA HUANENG, in partnership with Tongwei and Shenzhen Yichu Energy respectively, established two new energy companies. The new ventures focus on wind and solar power generation, energy storage technology, and new energy equipment manufacturing, among other businesses.
CHINA HUANENG and Tongwei Jointly Establish New Company
On August 7, CHINA HUANENG Lancangjiang (Shidian) New Energy was established.
Registered in Shidian County, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province, the new company has a registered capital of RMB 240 million. It is jointly held by state-owned enterprise CHINA HUANENG Lancangjiang New Energy and Tongwei Smart Energy (Sichuan), a subsidiary of Tongwei.
CHINA HUANENG Lancangjiang New Energy holds a 99% stake, while Tongwei Smart Energy (Sichuan) holds 1%.
Its business scope covers R&D of emerging energy technologies, technical services for wind and solar power generation, power generation technical services, electrical equipment repair, and EV charging infrastructure operation.
Shenzhen Yichu Shuzhi Establishes Another Subsidiary
In addition to the joint venture between CHINA HUANENG and Tongwei, Shenzhen Yichu Shuzhi has also set up a new subsidiary. On August 4, Shenzhen Qingyu New Energy was established.
Data from Qichacha shows that the new company has a registered capital of RMB 5 million and is registered in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shenzhen Yichu Shuzhi.
The company's business scope includes energy storage technical services, wind power technical services, emerging energy technology R&D, manufacturing and sales of PV equipment and components, battery manufacturing and sales, manufacturing and sales of new energy prime movers, electric motor manufacturing, energy-saving management services, gas compression machinery manufacturing, industrial internet data services, new material technology promotion services, and resource recycling technology R&D.
