EnergyTrend has learned that recently, five energy storage companies—Pylontech, Great Power, RelyEZ, CEEC Energy Storage Technology, and Zoolnasm—have announced new updates on project commissioning and contract signings, covering scenarios such as user-side customized energy storage solutions, solar-storage integration, and large-scale energy storage projects.
Pylontech’s Jiangsu Energy Storage Project Connected to Grid and Commissioned
On July 31, Pylontech announced that a 7.5MW/15MWh energy storage project supplied by the company was recently connected to the grid and commissioned in Yangzhou, Jiangsu.
The project is tailored specifically for the energy demands of a high-end manufacturing enterprise in Yangzhou, adopting three sets of 5MWh liquid-cooled containerized energy storage systems. Taking a full-lifecycle perspective, Pylontech built a full-link closed-loop service system spanning "planning, construction, equipment, operation, and financing."
Great Power’s 20MWh Solar-Storage Project in Romania Commissioned
According to foreign media reports, on July 31, a 20MWh battery energy storage power station in Caracal, Olt County, southern Romania, was commissioned. It is reported that the complete energy storage system for the project was supplied by Great Power, marking a representative energy storage project landed by Great Power in Romania.
The commissioned energy storage system is divided into two independent storage units, each configured with 5MW/10MWh, with an overall scale of 10MW/20MWh. They respectively support two PV power plants that were grid-connected in 2024, with installed PV capacities of 6.89MW and 7.26MW respectively.
300MWh Energy Storage Power Station Supplied by RelyEZ Grid-Connected
On July 31, RelyEZ announced that the Shandong Gaoqing 150MW/300MWh independent shared energy storage power station supplied by the company successfully achieved full-capacity grid-connected power generation.
Located in Gaoqing County, Zibo City, Shandong Province, the Gaoqing 150MW/300MWh independent shared energy storage power station received a one-stop energy storage solution and technical support from RelyEZ, including the GridUltra 5016 liquid-cooled energy storage battery cabin, AC step-up cabin, and EMS energy management system, while empowering intelligent operations through the RelyEZ OS energy storage ecosystem.
The project has a construction scale of 150MW/300MWh, configured with 30 sets of 5MW/10MWh LFP battery energy storage units. The storage system connects to a 220kV booster station via six 35kV collector lines, accompanied by one 180MVA main transformer.
CEEC Energy Storage Technology Secures Domestic Largest Single Energy Storage ODM Order
On July 31, CEEC Energy Storage Technology announced that it recently officially signed a 4GWh ODM order for China's largest single energy storage project with a leading energy enterprise.
It is reported that CEEC Energy Storage Technology has secured cumulative orders exceeding 10GWh this year. CEEC Energy Storage Technology's Wuhan Intelligent Manufacturing Base features 5 automated production lines with an overall automation rate exceeding 90%, boosting comprehensive production efficiency by 60% and achieving a monthly production capacity of 3GWh. The monthly production capacity for 587/588Ah cell energy storage products can reach 1.5GWh.
Two Energy Storage Projects by Zoolnasm Commissioned
On July 31, Zoolnasm announced that two energy storage projects delivered in July have been commissioned. On July 6, the solar-storage integration and off-grid backup power system at PetroChina's Tianjin Shengtong Technology Park was commissioned; on July 15, the China-aided fishing port project in Sierra Leone was delivered and put into service.
Among them, the solar-storage-diesel integrated microgrid project in Sierra Leone was built by CRCC Harbour & Channel Engineering Bureau Group and co-constructed by Zoolnasm.
It serves as a landmark livelihood project for China-Sierra Leone practical cooperation and is also the first comprehensive industrial fishing port in Sierra Leone.
Covering an area of approximately 15,000 m², the project comprises 480kWp PV + 500kW/1MWh storage + diesel generator, powered by Natrium's self-developed energy storage system, establishing an off-grid microgrid solution operating with "solar + storage + diesel" synergy.
In addition, another project—the office building energy storage project at the Tianjin Park—focuses on office backup power application scenarios. It represents an important practical implementation for Zoolnasm in China's user-side energy storage field, creating a mature application model tailored for industrial parks, factories, public buildings, and other scenarios.
