2026-07-30 14:10

EnergyTrend has learned that on July 28, Deye released an announcement disclosing the latest progress regarding its application for the issuance and listing of H-shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX).

According to the announcement, Deye had previously submitted its application for H-share issuance and listing to the HKEX on January 27, 2026, while simultaneously publishing application materials on the HKEX website. In accordance with HKEX rules, the validity period for initial application materials is six months, and the original submission expired on July 27.

Deye submitted an updated application for the H-share issuance and listing to the HKEX on July 28, publishing the updated draft on the HKEX disclosure platform on the same day.

Deye stated that the application materials published on the HKEX are a draft version, and the relevant content remains subject to potential future adjustments and updates, which should not serve as a basis for investment decisions. The target audience for this H-share issuance is strictly limited to qualified overseas investors and domestic qualified investors permitted by Chinese regulations to participate in overseas securities investment. The full set of application documents will not be published through domestic stock exchange channels, but relevant materials can be queried on the official HKEX website.

The announcement clarified that the proposed H-share issuance and listing still require successive approvals from multiple regulatory bodies, including the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong, and the HKEX, carrying significant uncertainty. The company will fulfill its information disclosure obligations in a timely manner as the project progresses.

The push for an H-share listing aims to build an "A+H" dual-listing platform. Public information shows that Deye listed on the Main Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) in 2021, specializing in energy storage inverters, PV inverters, and environmental appliances. From a financial perspective, Deye's net profit performance forecast for the first half of 2026 indicates an expected net profit attributable to equity holders of the parent company of 2.668 billion RMB to 2.728 billion RMB, representing a year-on-year increase of 75.28% to 79.22%.

In its submitted filings, Deye stated that it has built a comprehensive product matrix covering residential, commercial, and industrial (C&I) scenarios to address evolving market demands, with its diverse products currently sold across more than 150 countries and regions worldwide.

As of now, Deye has not yet disclosed finalized core details such as the offering size, offer price, or specific allocation plans for the proceeds. Although the specific issuance plan remains finalized, the framework of its updated prospectus indicates that the proceeds are intended to focus on R&D and production capacity deployment for cutting-edge PV and energy storage technologies, such as C&I energy storage and solid-state transformers.
