Recently, project deliveries and contract order sign-ups in the energy storage market have continued to gain strong momentum. In the domestic Chinese market, Pengcheng Wuxian signed a 25 GWh long-term battery cell supply order with Jiayang Energy. In overseas markets, enterprises including Kehua Digital Energy, Hefu Intelligent, and WeLion New Energy have continuously landed energy storage projects across Europe and Southeast Asia.
Pengcheng Wuxian Signs 25 GWh Long-Term Battery Cell Supply Order
On July 27, Pengcheng Wuxian signed a long-term cell supply contract with Jiayang Energy, securing a total supply volume of 25 GWh. The order includes 20 GWh of 314Ah energy storage cells and 5 GWh of 587Ah large-capacity cells.
According to the contract, Pengcheng Wuxian will supply 10 GWh of 314Ah cells in 2026, primarily to support the construction of Jiayang Energy's storage power plant projects scheduled for grid connection within the year, including the Yanchi 1 GW / 4 GWh Energy Storage Power Station Project. The remaining 10 GWh of 314Ah cells and 5 GWh of 587Ah cells will be delivered in phases between 2027 and 2028.
Kehua Digital Energy Supports Operation of 100 MWh Energy Storage Project in Vietnam
Recently, a 50 MW / 100 MWh energy storage project in Hanoi, Vietnam—featuring equipment and solutions from Kehua Digital Energy—achieved full-capacity commercial operation. The facility is reportedly Vietnam’s first grid-side energy storage project and the first large-scale energy storage undertaking for Hanoi’s urban grid.
Kehua Digital Energy provided its 1.25 MW Power Conversion System (PCS) solution for the project. Featuring a modular design optimized for high-temperature, high-humidity environments and high-power parallel operation, the equipment satisfies long-term continuous operational demands in tropical regions while offering peak shaving, frequency regulation, and multi-condition operational capabilities.
Hefu Intelligent Delivers First C&I Energy Storage Project in Sweden
Recently, Hefei Hefu Intelligent Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hefu Intelligent") completed system commissioning and delivery for its first commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage project in Sweden. Located in an industrial park in Söderhamn, Gävleborg County, Sweden, the 1 MW / 2.09 MWh project was jointly invested in and built by Hefu Intelligent and SUNTRADE.
The installation utilizes the HF261L liquid-cooled C&I energy storage system independently developed by Hefu Intelligent. Comprising eight energy storage units in total, the system enables real-time monitoring, remote operation and maintenance, and optimized energy dispatch via an energy management system (EMS) platform.
WeLion New Energy Delivers 1.5 MWh Energy Storage Project in Hungary
Recently, WeLion New Energy completed delivery of a 0.5 MW / 1.5 MWh energy storage project located in Egyházasharaszti, Hungary. This project represents another milestone for WeLion’s semi-solid-state energy storage technology in the European market.
The project incorporates the Spower II 522 kWh semi-solid-state energy storage cabinet independently developed by WeLion New Energy, integrated with an Inpower PCS system. Leveraging semi-solid-state cell technology, the storage system offers distinct advantages in safety, energy density, and cycle performance, meeting the European market’s stringent requirements for operational safety and footprint efficiency.
