Recently, the photovoltaic (PV) module market has continued to see dynamic updates. Astronergy supplied modules for the Shanxi Qinyuan 100MW PV project, LONGi entered into a solar-plus-storage partnership with DHL Group, and China Railway 16th Bureau Group announced the results of its 2026 centralized procurement for BC-type PV modules, with Tongwei, Aiko, Gaojing, and LONGi successfully shortlisted.
Astronergy Supplies Shanxi Qinyuan 100MW PV Project
Recently, the Shanxi Qinyuan 100MW PV Project was successfully connected to the grid at full capacity. As the project's PV module supplier, Astronergy delivered a total of over 190,000 units of its ASTRO N7 series high-efficiency PV modules.
It is understood that the project is located in Qinyuan County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, with a total installed capacity of 100MW. It includes a supporting 220kV booster substation and a 10-kilometer transmission line, serving as a key guaranteed grid-connected new energy project in Shanxi Province.
LONGi Signs Agreement with DHL Group to Advance Solar-Plus-Storage Cooperation
Recently, LONGi signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with DHL Group. The two parties will collaborate in fields such as global distributed PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), green logistics, and low-carbon supply chain transformation, further expanding the application of clean energy in overseas markets.
According to the agreement, the two sides will prioritize the promotion of LONGi's new generation of Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) products in DHL's European logistics parks and office buildings. They will also jointly develop integrated solar-plus-storage solutions tailored for logistics parks and explore the application of cutting-edge clean energy technologies, such as green hydrogen, driving pilot programs for related products across DHL's global facilities.
Tongwei, Aiko, and Others Shortlisted for China Railway 16th Bureau’s BC Module Centralized Procurement
On July 25, China Railway 16th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. released the public notice for its 2026 strategic procurement results of BC-type (Back-Contact) PV modules.
The shortlisted candidates are ranked as follows: Tongwei Co., Ltd. ranked first with a bid price of 146.02 million RMB; Zhejiang Aiko Solar Energy Co., Ltd. ranked second with a bid price of 157.30 million RMB; Gaojing Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd. ranked third with a bid price of 159.80 million RMB; and LONGi Solar ranked fourth with a bid price of 166.00 million RMB.
According to the tender announcement, this procurement was organized by China Railway 16th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. using a "centralized bidding with decentralized contracting" model. The scope of procurement covers all ongoing construction sites under China Railway 16th Bureau nationwide.
