EnergyTrend learned that the energy storage industry has seen frequent updates on order deliveries, cooperation signings and project commissioning recently, with five enterprises including Yichu Digital Energy, Risen Energy, Chenlong Group, Envision Energy and Fuchu Energy releasing new developments.
Yichu Digital Energy’s Datong Independent Energy Storage Station Connected to Grid
On July 6, Yichu Digital Energy Group announced that the Xinrong Hebong 400MW/800MWh standalone shared energy storage station invested and constructed by the Group in Datong, Shanxi Province achieved one-off grid connection.
Located in Xinrong District, Datong City, Shanxi Province, the station has a planned total installed capacity of 400MW/800MWh and covers an area of around 50 mu. This grid connection set a new record for the largest capacity one-off grid connection of grid-side standalone energy storage stations in Shanxi Province, with all equipment operating parameters meeting standards.
The full energy storage system of the project adopts lithium iron phosphate battery technology, equipped with 80 sets of 5MW/10MWh energy storage units and 80 sets of integrated PCS boost prefabricated cabins (each containing two 2,500kW power conversion systems plus one 5,250kVA step-up transformer).
Risen Energy Delivers Helix Intelligent Multi-Source Microgrid System
On July 3, Risen Energy disclosed that its Helix intelligent multi-source microgrid system had recently passed all tests, and the first batch of equipment has been shipped to Malaysia for practical deployment in local energy storage projects.
With a capacity of 261kWh, the system has undergone special environmental adaptability verification for high-temperature and high-humidity conditions, making it suitable for Southeast Asian climates. In addition, the Helix system supports multi-energy integration to enable more flexible dispatching and higher-efficiency power supply.
Chenlong Group Signs 1GWh Energy Storage Cooperation Deal
On July 2, Chenlong Group formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hunan Bangjin Energy and launched a 400MWh standalone energy storage station project. Under the agreement, the two parties will establish a long-term strategic partnership targeting an annual cooperation volume of no less than 1GWh, carrying out in-depth collaboration covering energy storage project development, energy storage system integration, financial leasing and new energy industrial synergy.
At present, Chenlong Group has deployed three intelligent manufacturing bases in Suzhou (Jiangsu), Heze (Shandong) and Huzhou (Zhejiang). For Bangjin Energy, the total installed capacity of its wind power, photovoltaic and energy storage projects stands at 5,100MW, with 1.6GWh of energy storage assets already in operation.
Per the strategic agreement, Bangjin Energy will leverage its strengths in project development, investment, construction and operation, while Chenlong Group will act as its strategic supplier of integrated energy storage systems, providing storage equipment and technical services for its energy storage station projects.
Envision Energy to Develop Wind-Solar Storage Project in Kazakhstan
Recent reports from Kazakh media Trend citing the Aktobe Regional Government state that Envision Energy plans to build a 250MW wind power project supporting a battery energy storage system in Aktobe Region, Kazakhstan.
The total project investment is approximately USD 215 million (equivalent to around RMB 1.55 billion). Askhat Shakharov, Governor of Aktobe Region, has held talks with Envision Energy representatives regarding project implementation. The two sides also discussed project progress timelines and follow-up cooperation opportunities during the meeting.
Fuchu Energy’s Industrial & Commercial Energy Storage Project Connected to Grid
On July 3, Fuchu Energy announced that the industrial and commercial energy storage project at Kunshan Wusongjiang Industrial Park, in which it participated in construction, was completed, connected to the grid and officially put into operation.
Built to serve the park energy consumption scenario of a Fortune Global 500 enterprise, the project boasts an installed capacity of 8.64MW/17.28MWh and adopts Fuchu Energy’s 10kV medium-to-large industrial and commercial energy storage products. The system consists of four sets of 4.32MWh battery cabinets and four sets of 2.15MW AC integrated boost cabinets, forming an energy storage solution matching the park’s high-voltage power distribution system.
