Recently, Canadian Solar and JinkoSolar successively released their latest investor relations activity records, revealing the companies' newest business developments.

Canadian Solar

Recently, Canadian Solar launched its third-generation TOPCon module products, achieving a systematic upgrade in both cell and module structural design. The product power can reach approximately 670W, with a maximum module efficiency of about 24.8%. It is expected to achieve global large-scale delivery successively starting from August 2026.

The company explicitly adheres to the strategies of "profit first" and "anti-involution" (rejecting cutthroat competition), taking the initiative to control its output scale to ensure profitability. In the first quarter of 2026, it achieved module sales of 1.9GW.

At the same time, the company will focus on the research and development of high-efficiency products, large-scale implementation, and the introduction and application of cost-reduction and efficiency-enhancement technologies—such as base metal substitution—to optimize the value of its existing production capacity. For technologically backward production capacity facing elimination, it will attempt to maximize the utilization of its residual value through methods such as selling it off.

In terms of its energy storage business, as of the end of the first quarter of 2026, the company's cumulative global delivery of energy storage systems approached 20GWh. Recently, the company's overseas orders have continued to materialize, and it has made progress in the European market, successfully landing its first energy storage project in Italy.

Furthermore, the company currently possesses an energy storage battery cell production capacity of approximately 3GWh in Dafeng, Yancheng. This primarily supports the production of its own battery packs and DC-side systems, forming an effective synergy with external battery cell procurement.

In the future, the company will continue to advance the research and development of next-generation high-capacity battery cells alongside its capacity upgrade planning, further enhancing product performance, manufacturing efficiency, and compatibility with complete energy storage systems.

JinkoSolar

JinkoSolar stated that the company has always been committed to TOPCon research, development, and innovation. As of the end of the second quarter, the company possessed over 40GW of TOPCon 3.0 production capacity, which can meet the Level 1 energy efficiency standard.

When discussing market conditions, the company noted that the price of TOPCon modules has remained relatively stable recently, experiencing slight fluctuations in tandem with price changes in upstream raw materials such as silver.
