Six Firms Including Tongwei, Jinko Solar Sign PV Module Orders Exceeding 2.65GW

EnergyTrend has learned that six PV enterprises – Tongwei, Jinko Solar, TBEA, Suntech, Hanersun and Huasun – have recently signed European PV module orders and established in-depth strategic partnerships, with total order volume exceeding 2.65GW.

Tongwei Secures Massive Module Orders Surpassing 2GW

During Intersolar 2026, Tongwei inked nine landmark agreements on-site with a total contracted volume topping 2GW.

The agreements cover three major categories: module supply frameworks, localized after-sales services and technical compliance ecosystems, detailed as follows:

Jinko Solar Signs PV Module Orders for Greece and Italy

On June 30, Jinko Solar announced it had recently formalized a module supply agreement with a renowned Greek clean energy developer, covering 282.45MW.

All modules under this order will be Tiger Neo 3 high-efficiency bifacial N-type TOPCon products, to be deployed for large-scale ground-mounted power stations in Greece.

On July 1, the company unveiled another supply contract of 200.3MW high-efficiency modules with a prominent Italian clean energy investor. The Tiger Neo 3 N-type TOPCon bifacial modules will be installed at major ground solar farms across southern Italy.

Sierra Leone’s Largest PV-ESS Complex Goes Online

Local time June 5 marked the official launch of the RESPITE PV and energy storage project in Sierra Leone, with TBEA undertaking the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works.

The RESPITE complex features a 50MW PV generation system paired with a 28MWh energy storage facility. It is the only large-scale national power project completed and commissioned in Sierra Leone over the past decade.

Suntech Concludes Multiple Strategic Cooperation Agreements

Between June 23 and 25 at Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich, Germany, Suntech locked in a string of significant cooperation partnerships.

Hanersun Signs Two European PV Module Supply Agreements

On June 24 during the Intersolar exhibition, Hanersun executed a strategic module supply contract with Italian PV enterprise 1st Beam for 120MW. Under the terms, Hanersun will deliver its high-efficiency 655W HITOUCH 6N PRO PV modules to 1st Beam.

On the same day, Hanersun sealed another strategic PV module supply agreement with Poland’s well-known energy firm INSELL at the exhibition venue.

Huasun Ships First Batch of Co-developed Products with Saihangny

On June 25, Huasun held a shipment ceremony for the first batch of new products co-developed under its strategic cooperation with Hebei Saihangny.

The two parties signed a formal strategic cooperation agreement back in April this year. After two months of preparation, the first consignment of joint-developed modules was successfully delivered. The shipped products belong to Huasun’s Indium Energy series, boasting high power output, broad compatibility and outstanding reliability. They are applicable to all mainstream scenarios including ground-mounted power stations and distributed PV systems.
