BYD Signs 5GWh Energy Storage Order
On May 21, BYD Energy Storage and Xinyuan Wansheng Technology Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. held a cooperation signing ceremony. The two parties officially reached a 4GWh energy storage system centralized procurement framework agreement for Gansu Province, as well as a 1GWh energy storage system equipment procurement contract for Jinchang (Phase I), Gansu.
Fox ESS April Shipments in Australia Exceed 1.05GWh
On May 23, Fox ESS announced that its installed capacity in the Australian market reached a new record high in April 2026. The company completed the installation of 25,000 equipment sets in a single month, with the total monthly volume breaking through 1.05GWh.
Since the beginning of 2026, Fox ESS has ranked first in the Australian residential energy storage market. In February, it topped the region's monthly ranking for the first time with an installation volume of 12,000 sets. In March, its installation scale increased to 19,000 sets, preserving its leading advantage. In April, it achieved another substantial leap, firmly securing the top spot in local shipments for three consecutive months.
This is primarily attributed to Fox ESS's localized operation model in Australia. The company had previously established a wholly-owned subsidiary in Australia, assembled a localized operations team, and built a comprehensive warehousing network to ensure the rapid delivery of goods. With its highly efficient supply capabilities, it has fully matched the market's surging demand for installations.
