According to EnergyTrend, multiple PV manufacturers have recently reported a string of overseas market breakthroughs. Jinko Solar has secured large-scale module orders in the UAE and Kazakhstan consecutively, while Hanersun has won module supply and operation & maintenance cooperation orders in Pakistan. Overseas expansion of the PV industry continues to accelerate.

Jinko Solar Signs 2GW Module Supply Agreement with the UAE

On April 20, Jinko Solar announced that it has recently signed a 2GW high-efficiency PV module supply cooperation agreement with Masdar of the UAE. Under the agreement, Jinko Solar will supply Tiger Neo modules for the RTC Project, Abu Dhabi’s flagship integrated solar and energy storage project.

With a total investment of over AED 22 billion (approximately CNY 40.8 billion), the Abu Dhabi RTC Project is the world’s first and currently largest flagship renewable energy project featuring deep integration of solar power and energy storage. The project plans to build a 5.2GW PV power station together with a supporting 19GWh battery energy storage system, and is scheduled to be officially commissioned in 2027.

Driven by the surging global computing power demand, data centers have become core power consumers in the new era. The Tiger Neo modules supplied this time fully comply with dedicated technical standards for AIDC artificial intelligence data center scenarios. Optimized and upgraded based on the mature N-type TOPCon platform, they are perfectly adapted to the harsh and complex desert conditions in the Middle East, delivering prominent advantages in full-life-cycle power generation revenue.

In addition, Jinko Solar announced on April 17 that it had recently signed a 53MW utility-scale PV module supply agreement with a Kazakh customer. The project adopts Tiger Neo 3 high-efficiency modules in full, including a 23MW capacity in Shieli and a 30MW capacity in Zhanakorgan.

Hanersun Secures PV Module Orders in Pakistan

On April 18, at Pakistan Solar Show, Hanersun signed two cooperation agreements respectively with local leading energy enterprises AJ Agritech and AJ Power.

Under the agreements, Hanersun will supply 25MW high-efficiency PV modules to AJ Agritech, and provide a new phase of operation & maintenance services for the 12MWp solar power station of AJ Power located in Punjab Province.

In terms of module supply, Hanersun will deliver a total of 25MW HITOUCH 6N 625W/630W high-efficiency rectangular modules to AJ Agritech. For project O&M, Hanersun will combine a digital operation and maintenance system with a localized service team to provide the new-phase O&M services for AJ Power’s 12MWp power station.
