Three Announcements in One Day: EVE Energy Plans RMB 11 Billion Expansion to Boost Energy Storage Battery Production Capacity by 110GWh
2026-04-09 14:17

According to EnergyTrend, on April 7, EVE Energy released three announcements in quick succession, disclosing its Q1 2026 earnings forecast and unveiling two cooperation plans for energy storage battery projects. These developments indicate that EVE Energy is accelerating capacity expansion, with the two projects totaling an investment of RMB 11 billion and a planned combined production capacity of 110GWh.

Q1 2026 Earnings Forecast Released

On April 7, EVE Energy published its Q1 2026 earnings forecast. The company expects net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company to reach RMB 1.376 billion to 1.487 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 25%–35%. Net profit after non-recurring gains and losses is projected at RMB 1.063 billion to 1.164 billion.

EVE Energy attributed its earnings growth mainly to product iteration, service upgrades, process optimization, and precise seizing of market opportunities, which have driven steady business improvement. The earnings forecast reflects the company’s stable development momentum and lays a solid foundation for its near-term growth.

Investment in Qidong Energy Storage & Power Battery Base

On the same day, EVE Energy announced a major capacity expansion plan. The company intends to sign an investment cooperation agreement with the People’s Government of Qidong City to build an energy storage (power) battery production base.

The project involves a total investment of approximately RMB 5 billion, covering about 332 mu of land, and will focus on constructing a 50GWh energy storage (power) battery production line. The project will be undertaken by a newly established, independently accounted project company to be set up by EVE Energy within 30 working days after the agreement signing in Qidong.

The project is planned to be located in Qidong Economic Development Zone, with land to be granted via public listing. If the company fails to win the land bid, the investment cooperation agreement will automatically terminate. The board of directors has authorized the management team to advance follow-up procedures.

Partnership with Longking for Energy Storage Capacity Expansion

EVE Energy issued another announcement regarding two linked cooperation initiatives. It will sign an investment agreement with the People’s Government of Shanghang County, Fujian Province, and jointly establish a joint venture with Fujian Longking Co., Ltd. to implement an energy storage battery project.

The project entails a total investment of about RMB 6 billion, with plans to build a 60GWh energy storage battery production base. The proposed joint venture, tentatively named “Fujian EVE Energy Co., Ltd.,” will have a registered capital of RMB 900 million. EVE Energy will contribute RMB 720 million, holding an 80% stake, while Longking will invest RMB 180 million for a 20% stake. The two parties will conduct capital increases proportionally in the future, with Loongair’s total cumulative investment not exceeding RMB 240 million.

Overall, building on its steady Q1 earnings growth, EVE Energy is accelerating energy storage battery capacity expansion in response to strong market demand. Both projects focus on energy storage and power batteries, aligning closely with the company’s long-term R&D strategy.

Previously, at the ESIE 2026 exhibition held from April 1 to 3, EVE Energy showcased a range of energy storage battery products, including the world premiere of a 6.9MWh energy storage system and its flagship large-format energy storage cells.

During the exhibition, CSA Group awarded EVE Energy a certification for passing the large-scale fire test for its 5MWh energy storage system equipped with 628Ah large-format energy storage cells, verifying the product’s safety performance against international authoritative standards. EVE Energy also displayed energy storage cell solutions tailored for various application scenarios, demonstrating its technological and product strengths in large-format energy storage cells.

The two energy storage battery expansion projects will provide robust production capacity support for the large-scale manufacturing of these exhibited products.
