2026-03-20 14:29

Recently, the construction progress of multiple domestic energy storage projects has seen significant updates. CALB's Jiangmen and Handan base projects have both achieved key construction milestones; Anerwei, a subsidiary of CosMX Group, has officially put its new energy storage factory into operation and launched several core products; meanwhile, Fulin Precision has received a capital increase of over 1 billion RMB, accelerating the production timeline of its 500,000-ton lithium iron phosphate project.

CALB: New Progress in Jiangmen and Handan Base Projects

On March 19th, Phase II of CALB's Jiangmen Base Project for power batteries and energy storage systems achieved a major milestone. Its "Energy Conservation Report" was officially approved by the Jiangmen Municipal Development and Reform Bureau, marking a crucial step forward in the project's construction.

Located on the west side of Planned Fifth Road in the Fengshanhu Area of the Xinhui Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, Xinhui District, Jiangmen City, the project has a total investment of up to 12 billion RMB. Its primary construction consists of lithium-ion battery production lines. Once completed and fully operational, the annual production capacity for power and energy storage batteries will reach 35GWh. The project is expected to be completed and put into production by June 2027.

Furthermore, CALB's 51GWh power battery and energy storage battery system Handan Base Project is currently under intensive construction, with its main structure fully entering the steel structure construction phase.

It is reported that this project involves a total investment of 10 billion RMB. Upon completion, it will form an annual production capacity of 51GWh for power and energy storage batteries. According to the plan, the project is scheduled to begin production before the end of September 2026.

CosMX Group: Anerwei's New Energy Storage Factory Officially Opens

Recently, Guangzhou Anerwei Electrical Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CosMX Group, held an opening ceremony for its Baiyun Factory and a new product launch event at the Intelligent Manufacturing Park of Guangzhou Baiyun High-tech Zone.

Reportedly, the Anerwei Baiyun Factory is rooted in the new energy storage sector, focusing on the core manufacturing of energy storage equipment. It plans to develop three core product lines: microgrid energy storage system products, Battery Management Systems (BMS), and Energy Management Systems (EMS). This will fully support large-scale product delivery and boost the localized and high-end development of energy storage equipment.

At the product launch event that day, the company showcased and introduced several new products, covering core components such as mobile energy storage, high-safety energy storage Battery Management Systems (BMS), grid-forming Power Conversion Systems (PCS), and integrated solar-storage Energy Management Systems (EMS).

Fulin Precision: 1.004 Billion RMB Capital Increase to Advance 500,000-Ton LFP Project

On March 18th, Fulin Precision released an announcement regarding the progress of its 500,000-ton annual capacity lithium iron phosphate (LFP) project. To meet funding needs, its subsidiary Jiangxi Shenghua, in collaboration with Qianyuan Huizhi and Jiebao Investment, jointly injected a total of 1.004 billion RMB into the project company, "Fulin Times."

Following this capital increase, the registered capital of Fulin Times surged from 1 million RMB to 1.005 billion RMB. In terms of equity structure, Jiangxi Shenghua contributed 779 million RMB, holding a 77.6119% stake and maintaining its controlling position; Qianyuan Huizhi and Jiebao Investment contributed 150 million RMB and 75 million RMB, corresponding to shareholding ratios of 14.9254% and 7.4627%, respectively.

It is reported that this capital injection aims to accelerate the construction of the 500,000-ton annual capacity high-end energy storage LFP project in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. The total investment for this project is estimated to reach 6 billion RMB. Fulin Precision stated that this move will further optimize the company's production capacity layout and enhance its core competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities.
