Recently, Hysea, Zhiguang Electric, and BYD Energy Storage have consecutively secured and commissioned several key energy storage projects both domestically and internationally.

  1. Hysea Wins GCL Energy Storage System Procurement Bid

Hysea recently successfully won the bid for the energy storage system equipment procurement of the Anhui Zhongsheng Hongwei 5MW/10MWh user-side energy storage project, managed by GCL Integrated Energy.

This project represents another successful implementation in the commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage sector since the two parties signed a 150MWh annual framework agreement for C&I energy storage cabinets in late November 2025.

To date, Hysea has served multiple GCL C&I energy storage projects, with cumulative winning bids exceeding 20MWh and more than 5MWh of equipment already successfully delivered.

  1. Zhiguang Electric Signs Orders for Solar-Storage-Diesel Microgrid Projects

Zhiguang Electric recently officially signed cooperation orders with the Vinmart Group of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) for three solar-storage-diesel microgrid projects. These projects are located in three major mining areas across the DRC and utilize Zhiguang Electric’s customized containerized energy storage solutions.

According to the agreement, the energy storage systems supplied by Zhiguang Electric integrate core components including PCS, BMS, and EMS. They feature a pre-installed design specifically optimized for the logistics and construction environments of African mining regions.

  1. BYD-Delivered 500MWh Energy Storage Project Commences Operation in Bulgaria

The Maritsa East 3 power plant energy storage project in Bulgaria, a collaborative effort between BYD Energy Storage and the European energy firm ContourGlobal, has officially entered commercial operation. With a total capacity of 202MW/500MWh and spanning approximately 2.5 hectares, it is currently one of the largest standalone energy storage projects in Eastern Europe.

As the core equipment supplier, BYD Energy Storage provided a comprehensive system solution, including 110 skid-mounted units integrated with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology, as well as 28 sets of integrated Power Conversion Systems (PCS) and transformer units.
