Recently, multiple energy storage companies have successively secured large-scale orders. Cornex New Energy Co., Ltd., Cubenergy, and Deye have each signed strategic cooperation agreements in North Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, respectively, involving a combined energy storage capacity of more than 7.5 GWh.
Cornex New Energy Signs 6 GWh Energy Storage Project Agreement
On January 16, Cornex New Energy Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Egypt-based WeaCan and Kemet.
Under the agreement, Cornex New Energy will supply a total of 6 GWh of energy storage products in phases and provide related technical support. WeaCan and Kemet, as the key drivers of project implementation, will be responsible for application scenario alignment, coordination of government approvals, grid connection support, and localized operation services.
Cubenergy Secures Another 1.5 GWh Energy Storage Order in Europe
Recently, Cubenergy signed a 1.5 GWh strategic cooperation agreement with IBG Group, a key energy infrastructure services provider in the Czech Republic. The two parties plan to complete delivery within 18 months, jointly advancing their expansion in overseas energy storage markets.
This large-scale strategic cooperation is built on substantial progress in previous projects between the two sides. Earlier, an energy storage system of more than 200 MWh jointly delivered by Cubenergy and IBG Group in the Czech Republic has arrived at the project site and completed commissioning, preliminarily obtaining grid connection approval from ČEZ, the Czech power utility.
Deye Secures a 60 MWh Energy Storage Order in the Middle East
On January 11, during the Iraq Energy Expo (IEEE), Deye signed a major annual cooperation agreement with Middle Eastern company Philadelphia Solar.
According to the agreement, Deye will supply its partner with a total of 60 MW of high-performance photovoltaic inverters and 60 MWh of energy storage system products, providing comprehensive support for project development and deployment in the regional market.
