2.17GW PV Module Orders Finalized by JA Solar, Jolywood and Other Major PV Manufacturers

A flurry of PV module orders has been clinched recently. JA Solar secured a large 410MW contract in South Korea, Jolywood PV won a RMB 537 million project, and 9 enterprises have been shortlisted for the 960MW procurement project of Shuifa Singyes Energy. N-type high-efficiency modules have become the mainstream choice in the market.

410MW: JA Solar Wins PV Module Order in South Korea

Recently, JA Solar signed an exclusive supply agreement for the "Hainanbukil Solar Power Generation Project", the largest-scale ground-mounted PV power plant project in South Korea, with a capacity of 410MW.

It is reported that this PV project is a key initiative of the South Korean government to advance its carbon neutrality strategy. Covering 8 sub-projects located in Hainan-gun Bukil-myeon and Gyeongjin-gun Sincheon-myeon, with a total capacity of 410MW, the project will fully adopt JA Solar's latest flagship module product, DeepBlue 5.0.

The client for this cooperation, JB Corporation, is a long-term strategic partner of JA Solar. At present, all power generation business permits for the sub-projects have been obtained.

RMB 537 Million: Jolywood PV Wins PV Module Project

On December 30, 2025, China Energy Engineering Group Zhejiang Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. announced the candidate selection results for the PV module procurement of Section I of the Gansu Gulang Longdian-to-Zhejiang Huanghuatan 2GW PV Project.

According to the announcement, the project was procured through direct purchasing, and Jolywood (Taizhou ) Solar, a subsidiary of Jolywood Co., Ltd., won the bid with an offer of RMB 536,979,456 (approximately RMB 537 million), with a public notice period of only one day.

Based on the bidding results of Section I of the EPC general contracting project of the Gansu Gulang Huanghuatan 2GW PV Project, the consortium led by China Energy Engineering Group Zhejiang Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. won the bid for the West Section of the project, with a PV capacity of 800MW. It is estimated that the unit price of the PV modules procured this time is about RMB 0.67/W, subject to the official price announcement.

960MW: 9 Enterprises Including Trina Solar and JA Solar Shortlisted for PV Module Procurement

On January 4, 2026, Shuifa Singyes Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. released the shortlist announcement for the framework agreement procurement project of PV modules for its annual photovoltaic power generation projects.

According to the announcement, the total procurement capacity amounts to 960MW, divided into 3 bidding sections, with 9 enterprises shortlisted in total.
