On the evening of December 23, HyperStrong announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Beijing HyperStrong Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd., plans to invest in the construction of the “HyperStrong Intelligent Green Energy Storage Factory Project” in Fangshan District, Beijing.
According to the company’s preliminary preparation plan, the total investment of the project is estimated at RMB 2 billion. The funding will come from the subsidiary’s own or self-raised funds and will not involve any proceeds from capital raising.
As a key initiative to enhance the company's high-end manufacturing capacity layout, strengthen core production supply assurance capabilities, and boost overall competitiveness, this project aims to establish an industrial base integrating R&D, manufacturing, and testing of energy storage integrated systems.
Located within Beijing's high-end manufacturing base, the project's core construction includes intelligent production lines for system integration, an R&D testing center, and related supporting facilities. Based on preliminary planning, the construction period is approximately 36 months, with completion, acceptance, and formal production commencement expected by December 2028.
HyperStrong stated that upon completion, the project will effectively address the company’s anticipated capacity gaps arising from future business growth, while improving supply assurance capabilities and response speed. By introducing advanced intelligent manufacturing systems, the project is expected to enhance production efficiency and optimize the product cost structure, thereby strengthening the overall competitiveness of the company’s products.
