Recently, LONGi Green Energy has been ramping up its deployment in the energy storage sector. Via its subsidiary Shanxi LONGi Green Storage New Energy Co., Ltd., it has intensively set up three energy storage-related subsidiaries in Shanxi within a short period, sending a clear signal that it is accelerating the regional rollout of its energy storage business and improving the ecosystem of PV-ESS integration.
According to the information from Qichacha, the newly established energy storage companies were all founded in the past two months.
- Shanxi Longyi Green Storage New Energy Co., Ltd. was incorporated first on November 14.
- Subsequently, Shanxi Longqi Green Storage New Energy Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Longwu Green Storage New Energy Co., Ltd. were established successively on December 17 and 18.
All three companies cover business scopes including research and development of emerging energy technologies, data processing and storage support services, wind power technical services, power generation technical services and energy storage technical services.
Shanxi LONGi Green Storage New Energy Co., Ltd., established in October 2025, is a wholly-owned grandchild company of LONGi Green Energy. Judging from a series of moves made by LONGi, the company has identified energy storage as its core strategic development focus. Prior to this, LONGi has built its energy storage ecosystem by means of taking equity stakes in system integration enterprises and entering into strategic cooperation with technology providers.
In addition, LONGi has already laid out its photovoltaic manufacturing and power station construction businesses in Shanxi. The intensive launch of these energy storage subsidiaries will create synergies with its existing photovoltaic business in the region.
