Recently, several companies—including Pylontech, Guoke Energy, Shengxin Technology, Sichuan Borui’an, and Sunwoda—have successively announced major project developments. These initiatives span a wide range of segments, from energy storage battery R&D and manufacturing to system integration and mobile energy storage vehicle production.

01 Pylontech Breaks Ground on Phase II of Its 10 GWh R&D and Manufacturing Base

On December 20, Pylontech officially broke ground on the Phase II project of its 10 GWh lithium battery R&D and manufacturing base in Feixi County, Hefei, Anhui Province.
Phase II represents a comprehensive upgrade built upon the success of Phase I, aimed at expanding advanced production capacity, strengthening industrial layout, and better meeting market demand.

While accelerating the construction of Phase II, Pylontech has also formally signed a new 2 GWh energy storage battery and system integration project, outlining a clear development blueprint for a future Phase III expansion.

02 Guoke Energy’s Intelligent Energy Storage Battery Manufacturing Base Commences Operations

On December 20, Guoke Energy held the commissioning ceremony for its Anqing energy storage battery intelligent manufacturing base at its factory in Anqing, Anhui Province.
The Anqing base covers an area of 165 mu and is planned as a 10 GWh intelligent manufacturing facility for energy storage batteries, featuring fully automated production lines and a smart factory design. Looking ahead, the company plans a second-phase capacity expansion, which is expected to generate an annual output value exceeding RMB 5 billion.

03 Sichuan Borui’an New Energy Storage Project Breaks Ground

On December 19, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Sichuan Borui’an New Energy energy storage project, jointly developed by Sichuan Zhongxin General Electric Power Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Anzhifu Energy Technology Co., Ltd.
The project covers a total land area of 63.65 mu with a total investment of RMB 300 million. It will focus on energy storage system integration and the manufacturing of core components, fully introducing automated, digitalized, and intelligent lithium battery PACK production lines, as well as in-house developed core integration technologies for EMS, BMS, and PCS systems. The project is scheduled to commence operations in November 2026 and is expected to form an annual production capacity of 3 GWh of energy storage products.

04 Shengxin Technology Signs Agreement for a 60 GWh Lithium Battery Project

On December 18, Zhejiang Shengxin Technology Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with the state-level Ningxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, marking the official settlement of a new-generation lithium battery project in Hunan Province.
The project will be developed in two phases within the Ningxiang Economic Development Zone, with a total planned capacity of 60 GWh. Upon reaching full capacity, it is expected to meet the battery demand of approximately 1 million new energy vehicles (including construction machinery) or more than 50 large-scale commercial energy storage power stations.

05 Sunwoda Plans to Build a Mobile Energy Storage Vehicle Production Line and Related Projects

On December 16, Sunwoda signed a cooperation agreement with the People’s Government of Gao’an City, Jiangxi Province, to jointly develop a “zero-carbon city with integrated multi-energy solutions.”
Under the plan, Sunwoda intends to invest RMB 2 billion to build projects including a complete vehicle production line for mobile energy storage vehicles, manufacturing facilities for heavy-duty trucks and energy storage PACKs, production and operation of equipment for heavy-duty truck charging and battery swapping stations, zero-carbon city construction and equipment manufacturing, as well as integrated “source–grid–load–storage” solutions.
